We are in Tirano, at Via Monte Padrio 35

The location is ideal for discovering Tirano on foot: within minutes you can reach the historic center, the railway station and the famous Bernina Express, as well as all essential services such as a supermarket, pharmacy, tobacco shop, and ATM. Nearby you will also find bars, pizzerias, and restaurants to taste local Valtellina specialties, as well as the weekly market with typical products.

At the same time, Tirano is a perfect crossroads for those traveling by train, bus, or car. From our apartment it is easy to explore the rest of Valtellina, reach Bormio, famous for its thermal baths and skiing, or Livigno, a renowned duty-free area ideal for shopping, nature, and outdoor activities. You can also cross the border to Engadin and Switzerland. By train you can conveniently reach Lake Como and Milan, while by car or bus you can also get to the Aprica Pass towards Valcamonica.

How to reach us

By car: From Milan it takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes following the SS36 and SS38 roads, passing through Lecco and Sondrio. From Malpensa Airport the drive takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes, while Linate and Orio al Serio airports are slightly closer. We provide a private garage with a reserved parking space. Nearby you will also find free public parking areas and paid parking options. During some traditional fairs (November 11, 2025 - March 29, 2026 - May 24–25, 2026) it will not be possible to access the apartment directly by car.

By train: Tirano is directly connected to Milan Central Station with Trenord regional trains, which take about 2 hours and 30 minutes and stop at the town station, just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment.

From airports: From the main airports (Malpensa, Linate, and Orio al Serio) you can reach Milan Central Station by shuttle buses or trains, and then continue comfortably to Tirano.
